Changing Your Address in Colorado

If you're new to Colorado, or you have moved within the state, you need to update your address with the Department of Revenue Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

On this page, you'll find information on how to change your address with the DMV, update your vehicle's title and registration, and request a new driver's license or ID displaying your new address.

You must now submit 2 documents proving your new address, dated within 1 year of issue. Those under 21 years old may use their parent or guardians proof of residency.
